The “Quality factor” is a key factor for the company competitiveness in a global market. This is true for manufacturing, commercial and service companies of any size and in all fields! The implementation of models, such as the ISO 9000 norms in their latest evolution Vision 2000 and the EQA (European Quality Award) model. Thanks to the tight collaboration with the QUALITAL Consortium, the DIMNP cooperates since the 70’s with industry, public and private organizations, control and certification institutions. With these partners different kinds of collaboration are performed.
Among the main activities are: final projects in industrial engineering. Among topics are: training, R&D projects Quality Management, Quality Systems; development, experimental techniques, methods and tools for Quality Engineering; application of Problem Solving techniques for the improvement of organization systems; developiment of assessment and self-assessment systems; Process Capability Studies; business process re-engineering; product testing and qualification; auditing; specialized courses on Quality Management.
To disseminate among students and managers the basic concepts about quality management, training and self-training material is constantly delivered, also based on multimedia, including industrial case studies and technical literature.
